When a felt tip of a pen touches the paper and I start drawing a line, when I read a script and think of a world for the characters to live in, when I look through a viewfinder to frame a photograph – some kind of magic happens. It feels like my mind materialises and offers the outer world and people that surround me a glimpse into who I am. Making art can be a very personal and meditative experience but at the same time I hope to leave a mark in the humanity.
